My name is Yulia Aspinall. I have developed the PharmaInfoLine website to share with you my more then 15 years experience and knowledge in biopharmaceutical information resources on line. The majority of the resources are those I use in my everyday working life as a consultant and previously whilst working in medical information, information / library services and for the last few years in competitive intelligence.
Please note that this is a personal website as comes from the perspective of a UK information professional. Whilst access to this resource is completely FREE, we do ask that you register to view the Business/Market information resources page, purely to help us focus the resource in future on the needs of the type of professionals using it.
The majority of the content of this website was presented at the 2008 Information Online Conference and Exhibition in London, together with other conferences.
The resources have been divided into 4 types according to their primary purpose: Biomedical/Scientific, Business/Market, Clinical/Regulatory and Patent/IP. PharmaInfoLine has a separate page dedicated to each type of the resource.
Each page contains links to the relevant resources according to their source (eg Journals) and subgroups for collections of original resources.
You will also see that links are divided according to the level of access: FREE – the content of the resource can be accessed without payment; FREE / PAID, if the some of the resource content can be accessed free and some requires payment, and PAID ONLY, if the content can be accessed only through subscription or via a ‘pay as you go’ option.
I have also created a page listing search engines and will update the site with additional relevant pages and links as time allows.
Over time I’m planning to add a short description of each resource together with a personal rating. I would also greatly appreciate if you, my colleagues, let me know your critiques as well as other resources you use which would be useful to share.
You can contact me at: email@example.com.
